My wife and I purchased a home in Walnut Creek with Pete Sabine. We did not have a good experience. Moving to Walnut Creek from out of town we were not able to do a final walk-thru of the home and our agent did not guide us here. The agent should have facilitated this. Moving into the home the seller left appliances, trash and several truck loads of their personal belongings. Very frustrating. We bought a 2M dollar home that was not move-in ready. We blame Pete.

We were kept well-informed, received good advice, good use of technology, prompt return calls, prompt to meetings, got a couple impressive offers on the house even before it listed. Also, Pete set appointments with the various inspectors and tradespeople, an extra bonus, since I do not live in and am largely unfamiliar with the area. He did an outstanding job and we were able to find, buy and close on our home all in a 5 week time frame. Michael handled everything from the start, making this whole process a very pleasant experience. Communication was very proactive, timely and honest. He made sure all the appropriate inspections were completed, handling all of the details and even after the house closed he arranged to have it deep cleaned, carpets cleaned and provided a handyman to take care of the small and minor repairs that were needed. It took us almost a year to to finally close on our first home. Lori was an amazing resource in helping to make my first real estate purchase a success! During the search process she spent time getting to know me and what I was looking for. She coordinated all of the details of the contract with the seller's agent and was a great advocate. She truly goes above and beyond for her clients!

My wife and I originally started to scope out a place to live about 6 months before we knew we could actually start offering on houses since we needed to sell our other properties first. We had contacted two other realtors and briefly worked with them but they seemed to lose interest since our transaction would be months away from happening. That is when I reached out to Michael after reading his bio and learning he lived in Pleasant Hill which is where we were going to primarily be looking for a home. Michael immediately explained the process to me and set up an in person meeting at his office on a Saturday morning. We discussed the realtor-client relationship and also went over all the forms and aspects of purchasing a home in today's competitive climate. None of the other realtors even mentioned preparing us for the eventual purchase like Michael did. So during our meeting we set up some automated alerts for homes for sale in the areas that we decided on and throughout the entire process Michael asked for feedback so that he could better serve us once we were ready to purchase. Once we started looking for houses to offer on, my wife and I were even more impressed with Michael and his team. We set up multiple weekends in a row where we selected homes to view and a few others that Michael threw in to show us the differences in certain areas and price ranges. This was very helpful to see what we could afford and also be realistic about the whole process. Once we found the house we were looking for and were ready to present an offer, Michael expertly assisted in preparing a well presented and organized offer that got us the very first house we offered on. The house had many offers with most going well over asking. Michael guided us towards the right offer price considering our budget and the action on the property. We got the house without being the highest offer, in fact at least 3 offers were higher than ours. Needless to say, it really does matter when you select a realtor. You just can't overbid and expect to get a house in the current market, you need to be smart about your contingencies and well prepared. When I sold my other two properties, I saw first hand the difference in a well presented offer and a realtor who didn't pay attention to detail or follow the offering instructions. I strongly recommend Michael Moore as a realtor and now I can also call him a neighbor as he lives not far from the home we purchased.

Michael is actually the first realtor we met and work with, so we can't really make any comparisons, but we do feel the overall experience with Michael is excellent. Since we are first time home buyers, Michael first walked us through the entire home buying process so that we know what we will be dealing with. Then when we started visiting houses, Michael not only arranged all the houses we are interested to see in an one-day tour, he also made many good suggestions of houses that we didn't know about. I was referred to Michael through a close friend who also bought his home and a relative’s though him. I am a first time home buyer and the whole process seemed overwhelming (and still is to a certain extent). Michael and I had our first meeting and I had plenty of questions to ask. Mr. Moore took his time explaining the typical purchase agreement section by section and page by page. His explanations and thoroughness alleviated much of the stress.
