I will finally share with Zillow what I have told the countless friends that we have referred to Team Diva: they are at their very best when it really matters. In today’s online world – sure - you can do a lot of your own looking and rating, and yes, we are well aware of other cheaper options in real estate assistance, but have consistently found it worth it to instead work experienced people who know what is up. Team Diva really shines is getting you across the finish line when you do want to buy or sell, on what for us have always been the most major financial transactions of our lives. Over 10 years I have done 6 deals using Team Diva - 3 purchases and 3 sales. These included buying and selling a Capitol Hill Co-op, buying (at 10% less than list price) and selling (at 14% above asking price) a Central District townhouse, their referral to and mentoring and guidance of new agent in Tacoma to sell our Tacoma condo amidst a litany of challenges (including not qualifying for most mortgages and a full rental cap, meaning we needed a cash buyer who wanted to live there), and finally – buying a new construction house in Columbia City, in competition with another offer. Kim really know ins and outs of Seattle real estate. My husband and I had recently transplant to Seattle and was a first time home buyer. We happened to find Team Diva out of all places....YELP! Kim and her team helped us navigate the local real estate market and basic guide to loan process, and found us a townhome in our desired neighborhood. Through the whole home buying process, Kim really showed professionalism and attention to details. She persistently followed up on closing process with seller's agent (seller's agent was not very responsive). I highly recommend Kim and her team! Service well worth it!

I have worked with Team Diva Real Estate on both a purchase and a sale and they were incredibly helpful with every step of the process. They really took it to the next level, however, when at my closing, the sellers paperwork had a closing cost error - that's when the full power of their negotiating skills kicked in and they ensured that the other teams error did not effect me at all in the process. It was SO GOOD to have someone really go to bat for me as a client and greatly reduced the stress of the whole thing.

When my fiance and I decided we were finally ready to buy a home, Kim and Chavi were able to get it done immediately. In fact, we closed on our very first home less than 30 days from enlisting their services. In a market where Seattle homebuyers are in extreme bidding wars, we were able to come out on top and WIN our first offer and negotiation. Kim and Chavi got us out viewing homes within the first few days and within 48 hours we were in contract (snapping up a home before its open house, the day after in came on the market). The mortgage lender was able to close three times as fast as most banks. From start to finish, it was the easiest move in my entire life. My living situation has improved so dramatically, and so easily... I cannot fully express my gratitude with just these few words. :)

I met Kim and Chavi a couple years back thru some of my best friends and have known them socially and via their business and I don't think there is anyone better in the Seattle area. Not only are they active in their business, but also in their community. Totally well rounded, friendly, fun gals. They know Captiol Hill, Seattle and its neighborhoods like the back of their hands! I loved working with the Divas! Not only do they know their stuff, but they do it in style and make it fun! I was shopping for my first place. Awesome reviews online led me to Kim and Chavi, so we set up a time to chat. The Divas were like mediums channeling my wish-list in a house hunting séance. They completely understood my wants, needs, target neighborhoods, budget, etc. After taking everything into account, they pointed to the map and said “this one first.” We took the tour, and I really liked what I saw. Still, having seen only one place, I was feeling indecisive and the Diva’s had compiled a lot of other excellent options to explore. There was zero pressure, no false sense of urgency. It was at my pace, on my schedule, and it was fun. I’m convinced that they would have stuck with me, touring condos and having cocktails, no matter how long it might have taken to find just what I was looking for. Took several additional tours exploring properties that accented various points on my wish-list, and eventually circled back with renewed confidence, placing an offer on the place they originally pegged for me. They had me totally prepared with regards to the process, financing, paperwork, etc. In the end, the seller took our offer over a higher competing bid because we were more prepared, more decisive, and easier to work with—totally the Divas’ doing. The process was simple and mostly electronic—which I loved. I was working full time and transitioning to a new job, car shopping, and on a vacation out of the States while all of this was going on. Despite all of that, they made it simple for me, with most of the work done on my smartphone miles away. I was literally at a gathering with friends, champagne in hand, while the Diva’s were negotiating on my behalf. Fabulous! Beyond my own positive experience with Team Diva, I want to comment on another thing about this team that has really stood out to me since my purchase. These ladies are truly dedicated to being involved in their community. They are a standing host home to an international student group; they actively promote awesome local arts, events, businesses, and talent; and they regularly contribute to a number of important local charities and causes. They are always connecting people together for one reason or another. I really admire their ‘divalicious’ contribution to the Capitol Hill community.

Kim helped my husband and I buy & sell. She is fantastic and now has a dynamite team with her as well. She is professional, knowledgeable, a fantastic negotiator, explains the entire process clearly and thoroughly. She has great resources in lenders and inspectors, home repair, restaurant and wine recommendations and pretty much anything you might ever need. She is also very dedicated to her local community and supporting local business. While she is an amazing realtor, she is also an amazing person. I will never use another agent!

My husband and I have purchased 2 homes in Seattle using Kim Colaprete and Team Diva. We bought our first home in Columbia City - the sellers paid the closing costs and negotiating a lower price with us. When our mortgage loan officer flaked - Kim found us one that was professional and prompt. She walked us through all the paperwork and hoops we needed to jump to official purchase our home. When we wanted to buy a different house - Kim was our gal. She negotiated with the seller/builder of our townhome in Judkins Park and helped us get a new fridge, a completely fenced yard and gate, and closing costs. Team Diva also helped us to design an advertisement for renting our Columbia City home and posted it on several websites. This included staging the house and taking pictures. I cannot rave about Team Diva enough!

Kim Colaprete is a consummate professional in her field. When my wife and I were ready to buy a house, we were looking at a very small time frame. Kim came highly recommended from a workmate, and we met with her and her business partner Chavi Hohm at a coffee shop in the area where we were looking to buy. They put us at our ease almost immediately, but were also very open and honest about what we might find. When we found what we were looking for, they were able to deftly take us through the process of signing (an experience new to both of us) and, on numerous occasions, kept us from freaking out. They have since become great resources for us new homeowners, with recommendations for everything from reasonably-priced handy-men to the best place to buy local wines. I simply can't say enough good about how well our home-buying process was handled.
