We have owned our beach house for over 20 years. In the early years, we came down to Outer Banks, NC a lot, one week each summer and many weekend trips off season. Now both our kids have grown up and live away, they do not get excited as an idea to come to OBX anymore. On the other hand, we started to explore the other portion of the world years ago. We travel often and have our footprints left on all seven continents. Recently, Realty in the vacation home market turned in the correct direction and is finally a seller’s market after years of slow growth. In the beginning of May 2024, we made the decision – it was the time to sell. As this is our first experience selling a house, we really did not know what to expect from a realtor. Our goal was to sell our house at a reasonable price in a brief period. We did not know any realtor (except our buyer agent 20 years earlier, he already retired) nor do we know the market of OBX. What an Incredible Realtor Cameron is. We were looking to purchase a 2nd Beach Rental property in The OBX and a friend recommended Cameron to us and we are very pleased with our decision to utilize her services. For almost a year we looked at quite a few properties and some of them were last minute selections. Cameron never let us down. She was always on-time, informed and gave us wonderful insight to all the homes we viewed. When we finally found what we were looking for, she was patient and walked us through the entire process and we waited. In the end we were outbid on the property. Gutted with the experience, Cameron kept us focused and level headed as we started our search all over again. Soon after the let down, we were back in the game and instead of a Sound Front home, we found a dreamy Beach Front. Of course we ended up in a bid situation, but experience prevailed and we Absolutely could not be happier with the purchase. Cameron was a pleasure to work with. She was organized, attentive and knowledgable throughout the entire process. Her marketing skills set her apart from others and I appreciated how she made sure to update me each week on the showings, feedback, and what she had done to market my property. She took the time to understand every aspect of my home, the market, and the neighborhood and it showed in a quick sale! The buyer asked me to remove a small tree in the yard prior to closing and Cameron physically spent her Saturday helping me remove the tree. Cameron is listing our semi-oceanfront property. She was extremely helpful in working with us to determine the right listing price. She also did a very good job in developing our property description. She explained all the services her firm provides. She held an open house and has shown the property to multiple prospects. We have gotten a few offers but none that we have accepted yet. Cameron is always available when we have questions and is very responsive. I was recently at the OBX and called Cameron with some questions. She was quick to jump in her car and come right over to discuss my questions. I would highly recommend Cameron to anyone looking to sell or buy in OBX.

Cameron was terrific to work with! She was very responsive to all questions and issues that arose. She was very knowledgeable, and when we came across something she had not seen before, she was able to get the answer that was needed very quickly. She understood our needs and took time to get to know us resulting in looking at properties that she thought might be interesting to us- and they were! We had a difficult negotiating process with the seller, and she stuck with it and got us to where we wanted to be. Even at the end of the sale, and after it was over, she helped us find contractors to fix the issues that needed to be done which was very important to us since we are out of town.
